So it's Tuesday morning and like every other morning I'm up before the sun. My morning routine of coffee, relaxing music and Newsvine is the same before I have to get ready for work. Letting Tucker out I notice the rain clouds are moving out and I remember I have to go across the bridge. It's now a priority to grab my camera on my way out.
First stop is at my office to grab some notes. The top shot here is on the ramp at the office building. I took it with the iPhone 6s using the Lightroom Mobile app. From there its across the nearer bridge. I wish I could get morning shots for you from that perspective. It really has a nice view of the bridge by the harbor and there were multiple layers of clouds this morning that were just sweet to look at.
Once in the city and parked at the top of the 4th street parking ramp there has to be a picture here. Oh hell! I don't have an sd card in my camera. Luckily the laptop is in the back of the car and there's an sd card in there. Trying again I got the second shot. I used a little crop zoom with this one to remove some of the distracting elements.
It didn't take long at the client office. A very short drive over to harbor area, where all the parking requires a fee, I pulled in a hotel lot hoping not to get towed. There were several people about enjoying the morning and walking the beach/boardwalk. There was a nice boat out on the lake, but I only had the ultra-wide so you can't really see it.
Is it time to head back to my office, with the sun breaking the horizon? I probably looked deranged as I whipped into a turn lane to get to the spot for one last shot. Someone was already there parked in the street with her camera out taking shots. I parked in a reserved spot behind the building (again hoping not to get towed) and ran across the street and shot this last one. I really liked how the trees framed the shot and the way the light hit them.
Now it was time to get to my office.
UPDATE - Better edit of the sunrise with a 1920 x 1080 crop for desktop wallpaper.
